OpenAI’s investors are making efforts to bring back Sam Altman, the chief executive who was fired on Friday, the Wall Street Journal reported Saturday, the latest development at the artificial-intelligence company behind ChatGPT.
Bloomberg News on Sunday reported that Altman and former President Greg Altman — who resigned Friday — were meeting at OpenAI’s headquarters on Sunday, and that talks to bring them back had hit an impasse over the makeup of the board.
